At Buses Trust, we respect the privacy of everyone who visits our website and reaches out to us. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal data we process, what we use it for, and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Chilean Law No. 19,628 and the amendments introduced by Law No. 21,719 on the protection and processing of personal data.

2.1 Data You Provide Voluntarily

Our website includes quote request forms on the Contact, Corporate Transportation, Student Transportation, and Tourism pages. When you fill them out, we may ask for:

• Full name
• Company, institution, or reference for the passengers being transported
• Email address
• Contact phone number
• Pickup and destination addresses
• Service dates or times
• Number of passengers
• Purpose of the trip or special requirements

This information is necessary to prepare and send you a quote. It is handled directly by our sales team and delivered to our internal email accounts (ventas@busestrust.cl / region@busestrust.cl). We do not use a CRM or a commercial database to store requests submitted through these forms.

You may also contact us by WhatsApp or phone call, in which case we process any data you share during that conversation under the same standard of protection described in this policy.

2.2 Technical Data and Campaign Measurement

This site uses Google Ads solely to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and to statistically determine whether a visit or an action taken on the site originated from an ad.

Depending on your privacy choice, Google may receive technical information such as the date and time, browser or device type, page visited, referring page, IP address, consent status, identifiers associated with an ad click, and information about conversion actions, such as a click on our WhatsApp link.

We do not send your name, email address, phone number, quote content, or any other information you voluntarily enter into our forms to Google Ads.

2.3 Local Storage and Google Ads Technologies

The first time you visit the site, you can accept or decline advertising measurement technologies. Your choice is stored locally in your browser under the name bt_cookie_consent, solely to remember your selection.

If you accept, Google Ads may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure conversions. If you decline, advertising storage and personalization options remain disabled, and no Google Ads advertising cookies should be set or read from our site.

We use Google's advanced consent mode. As a result, even if you decline, Google may still receive cookieless technical signals for aggregated measurement and conversion modeling. Under our configuration, these signals are not used to build remarketing lists or to serve personalized advertising.

• Coordinate the transportation service you have booked
• Statistically measure the performance of our Google Ads campaigns

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes unrelated to providing our service.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data when necessary to respond to an inquiry or prepare a requested quote; to enter into or perform a transportation contract; to comply with a legal obligation; or when you have given your consent to the use of cookies or advertising technologies.

We may also process technical data that is strictly necessary for the security and operation of the site, or on the basis of a legitimate interest, provided this does not override the rights and freedoms of individuals.

You may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

5. Data Retention

We retain data only for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry or quote request. If a service is booked, we retain it for the duration of the business relationship and for any applicable legal, accounting, tax, or rights-defense retention periods. Once no longer needed, the data is deleted or anonymized.

Your privacy choice remains stored in your browser until you clear the data stored by the site or change your decision. Data processed by Google Ads is subject to the retention periods configured within that service.

6. Who We Share Your Data With

The data you provide when requesting a quote is used by authorized Buses Trust personnel who need it to handle your request or coordinate the service.

Google receives only the technical and conversion information described in this policy in order to provide the Google Ads measurement service. Due to its international infrastructure, this information may be processed outside of Chile, subject to Google's protective terms and conditions and applicable rules on international data transfers.

We do not sell personal data or transfer it to third parties for commercial purposes other than those described here, except where required by law or by a valid request from a competent authority.

7. Your Rights Over Your Personal Data

As the owner of your personal data, you have the right to:

• Access: find out what data we hold about you.
• Rectification: correct inaccurate or outdated data.
• Erasure: request the deletion of your data.
• Objection: object to a specific use of your data.
• Portability: request your data in a transferable format.
• Restriction: request the temporary suspension of processing while the accuracy, currency, or lawfulness of the data is verified.

To exercise these rights free of charge, write to us at ventas@busestrust.cl or region@busestrust.cl, indicating your name, the right you wish to exercise, and a clear description of your request. We will only request additional information when reasonably necessary to verify your identity or locate your data.

We will respond within the timeframes established by applicable law. Once the new regulatory framework is in force and operational, you may file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency if you believe your request was not properly addressed.

8. Protection of Children's and Minors' Data

Our student transportation service (the "Student Transportation" form) is directed at schools, educational institutions, and parents or guardians — not directly at minors. The form only collects the contact details of the responsible adult (parent, guardian, or institution) requesting the quote, not personal data belonging to the children or adolescents who will be transported.

When it is strictly necessary to receive information about students in order to safely coordinate a service, that information must be provided by the school, institution, parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult with the appropriate authorization.

Information about minors is limited to what is strictly necessary to provide the service and protect their safety. It is not used for advertising or profiling. Sensitive data belonging to minors under sixteen is only processed with the appropriate authorization or where permitted by law, respecting their best interests and evolving autonomy.

9. Data Security

We apply reasonable measures, proportionate to the size and activities of Buses Trust, to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or misuse. These include restricting access to personnel who need the information, securing accounts, and enforcing confidentiality obligations.

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable regulations. The date of the last update is shown at the bottom of this page.
